Parsimoni Partners with Astro42 and Launches Global University Programme
CEO
We are announcing two related initiatives: a partnership with Astro42, a Wozify company, for SpaceOS-certified satellite application development, and a Global University Partnership Programme to open access to real orbital infrastructure for academic research and student innovation.
Astro42 Partnership
Astro42 brings deep experience in satellite application development and will focus on building SpaceOS-certified software for deployment through the Satellite App Store. This collaboration expands the ecosystem of developers and applications available to satellite operators using SpaceOS.
By certifying third-party applications for SpaceOS, we can offer satellite operators a growing catalogue of tested, secure software that runs on shared payloads with strong isolation guarantees.
University Partnership Programme
Alongside the Astro42 partnership, we are launching a global university programme to give academic teams access to orbital infrastructure for research and teaching.
Participating universities will be able to:
- Develop and test satellite applications using the SpaceOS development environment
- Deploy applications on real orbital hardware through the Satellite App Store
- Contribute to open research on in-orbit computing, security, and edge processing
The programme is open to universities worldwide. We are particularly interested in partnerships that bring new application domains -- from Earth observation and environmental monitoring to communications and scientific computing -- into the satellite software ecosystem.
