ANT61 (Australia) and Parsimoni (France & USA) have announced a strategic partnership integrating Parsimoni's SpaceOS operating system with ANT61's Beacon satellite subsystem.

The collaboration combines ANT61's flight-proven Beacon hardware—an independent satellite resilience and communications module—with SpaceOS, a secure, edge-computing platform for in-orbit software payload management. This integration enables LEO satellites to deliver real-time insights within seconds.

ANT61 Beacon Features

The Beacon subsystem provides:

  • Self-contained subsystem with independent sensors and onboard computer
  • 24/7 satellite connectivity and real-time telemetry
  • Satellite recovery capabilities during primary system failures
  • Enables rapid tasking, health monitoring, and reliable deorbiting

SpaceOS Capabilities

SpaceOS brings secure edge computing to space:

  • Secure-by-design operating system for edge computing in space
  • Processes data in orbit and extracts critical insights
  • Transmits only relevant information to ground stations
  • Enables immediate team response to data

Industry Impact

Mikhail Asavkin, ANT61 CEO, stated: "space needs to be more collaborative and standardised, which is why we fell in love with Parsimoni."

Miklos Tomka, Parsimoni CEO, emphasized: "With the ANT61 partnership, this takes seconds. Finally, companies can react immediately."

The partnership aims to accelerate Earth Observation data processing, reducing ground-station response times from hours to seconds.
